Good walks, good shopping , good food and don’t miss the castles which are marvellous. Most importantly, support the local pub, the Swan, there are few pubs like this left, no food, no noise, just drinks and conversation and a roaring fire. - Sept 2011

After a fabulous day at the Royal Welsh Show we spent hours watching the birds on the balcony. It’s been a great relaxing break. - July 2011

A wonderful walk up along Offas Dyke, the Hergest Ridge to Gladestry for a well earned cidre before heading back to see the delightful church of St. Thomas a Becket and relaxing in Keepers. Discovered the knocking to be our friendly wood pecker. - July 2011

A lovely week in very comfortable, ornithologically rich cottage. Already planning our return. - May 2011

We have had a wonderfully restful, peaceful time with our two dogs. How nice it has been to bring them and enjoy walks along Offas Dyke. We have passed Keepers information to our son who is looking for dog friendly places to stay. We ate at the local pubs and both were excellent. - March 2011
